Customs, Duties & Taxes – International Orders

At Blix, we are proud to serve customers worldwide. Please note that when you place an order for delivery outside India, you are considered the importer of record and are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations of the destination country. . All international orders are shipped on a Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis, meaning duties, taxes, and customs charges are not prepaid and are payable by the recipient.

1. Import Duties & Taxes

• International orders may be subject to import duties, customs charges, VAT, GST, and other local taxes as per the regulations of the destination country.
• These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost displayed at checkout.
• Any applicable duties, taxes, or customs fees must be paid by the recipient at the time of customs clearance or delivery.
• Blix has no control over these charges and cannot estimate the exact amount, as they vary by country and local regulations.
• It is the customer’s responsibility to check whether the ordered product is permitted for import into the destination country, including any licenses or permits that may be required. Blix is not liable for items seized, delayed, or destroyed by customs authorities for non-compliance with local import regulations.

2. Customs Clearance

• Customs duties and taxes are assessed by the destination country's customs authorities once the shipment arrives in the country.
• Any customs-related charges must be settled directly by the customer with the courier or customs authority.
• Customs clearance procedures may occasionally cause delays in delivery, which are beyond Blix's control.
• For detailed information regarding import regulations and applicable charges, we recommend contacting your local customs office.

3. Refused or Unclaimed Shipments

Blix is not responsible for shipments abandoned, destroyed, or auctioned by customs authorities due to non-payment of duties within the timeframe set by the destination country.
